After getting the train from Roma to Naples
we stopped somewhere on the way and stayed at a hotel that night. National
Archaeological Museum. It had heaps of mosaics that had been dug out and
gathered from Pompeii and brought in to the town of Naples. Where they tile by
tile fixed all the ruined pieces of mosaics that had been destroyed by Vesuvius,
which also killed everyone who lived there and covered the whole city. The Museum also had loads of marble sculptures
where people had carved a model for years and years. Day by day they carved and
chiseled the marble until they made a masterpiece.
